This website

This site has no analytics service, advertising pixels, or account system. Changing the practice preview only changes the page in your browser. It does not save a meditation or access your native app library.

This website is hosted by Vercel. Vercel receives the requests needed to deliver pages and images and may process connection information, including IP addresses, for delivery and security. See Vercel’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Launch updates

Email signup is coming soon. You can type in the email field, but submission is disabled. Your address is not sent or saved by this site. We plan to use Formspree for launch notifications and will update this page when signup opens.

Your native app library

Saved practices, intentions, and listening history are stored locally on the device where you use Pattern Bear. The current apps do not have accounts or automatic cloud sync. Libraries on different devices are separate.

Optional spoken guidance

New narration is made using xAI text-to-speech. The script, including a personal intention if it is spoken, is sent to xAI to create the audio. Generated narration is cached privately on that device for replay. Unguided practices and synthesized sounds do not need a narration request.

Provider data handling is governed by xAI’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). The public narration-access arrangement is still being developed.

Your choices

You can leave the personal intention blank, choose unguided playback, and use locally synthesized sounds or silence. You do not need to write a journal to use the app.

Pattern Bear is in development. This page describes the current implementation and will be updated before public release. Last updated October 7, 2026.
